Helpful Resources For You

As you may continue to explore and learn about the Great Resignation Era, as well as its ‘quiet’-business practices, here are some of the resources I personally use that can also help you understand more:

The New York Times / Other Newspaper Organizations

As a world-renowned newspaper and journalistic entity, The New York Times consistently reports about a broad range of ongoing social, political, and economic trends or issues. They also publish opinion editorials (or op-eds) about such trends and issues for a more personal review or discussion with the reader.

Lately, The New York Times, as well as other news entities like The Washington Post, have been posting about the Great Resignation Era and its ‘quiet’-practices. The most recent NYT article has been about quiet-quitting and who it actually serves

The Washington Post, along with other entities, have gone further to discuss newer trends being found, including quiet-hiring and even quiet-thriving

You can access these articles for free via their social media accounts and posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more. As well, if you have a paid subscription with any major news entity, you can also search for articles with keywords you are looking for.

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)

An agency of the federal U.S. Department of Labor (DoL), the Bureau of Labor Statistics is designated to provide official government findings regarding economic trends for the U.S. government and public. They are focused on the broad field of labor economics and current statistics pertaining to U.S. businesses, employees, as well as large corporate entities. You can access their press releases, or as they call them Economic Releases, on their homepage, as well as freely access their publications and statistical tables that they have compiled.
